Mobilized's F1 M1980, Field is a thoroughly updated interpretation of the iconic French Army F1 Model 1980 battle dress jacket.
Our F1 M1980, Field jacket is a versatile, transitional season jacket. The Driden Sahara 6 washable dry waxed cotton from British Millerain providing a lightweight yet very durable, wind and water resistant alternative to synthetic fabrics. Sahara 6 is a unique waxed cotton in that it is machine washable and can be tumble-dried and ironed. Periodic reproofing is not required, making the material very easy to care for and maintain.
A contrasting corduroy collar provides a soft, comfortable cotton cushion against the neck. The Field edition is unlined for optimal range of motion and to allow the wearer to add layers as the temperature drops.
Each element of trim, from the buttons to the thread, has been thoughtfully selected with an eye to simplicity of function and understatement in keeping with our design ethos: stand out without standing out.
Handmade by a small team of highly skilled seamstresses, each jacket requires four hours of painstaking work to complete. The result is a clean finish both inside and out.

- British Millerain's Sahara 6 is 100% dry waxed cotton, extremely durable and offers many years of protection and comfort. Caring for Sahara 6 is straight forward. It is machine washable and can be tumble-dried and ironed. However, we recommend line drying just to be on the safe side. Dry-cleaning: Sahara 6 cannot be dry-cleaned.
